Briniging back humanity’s first deodorant
Five years ago, our founder, Walid, moved from Algeria in North Africa to the USA. He brought his favorite deodorant powder made with his grandmother’s recipe. This deodorant was powerful enough to curtail body odor in Algeria and performed equally well in the US.
However, after a year in the US, Walid had used up his supply and switched to a commercial alternative. After a while, he started noticing problems he didn’t have before, his shirts started to stain, and the odor would worsen after a long day.
He was motivated to change the industry, so when he traveled to Algeria, he brought a big jar of live crystals. Walid decided to bring his culture’s deodorant to the USA, which led to Crysteous’ founding.
Sweating is a natural process that aids the body in ridding itself of toxins. The issue is body odor occurs not because of sweat but because of bacteria.
Crysteous, made from a live crystal, interacts with wetness to recrystallize, forming a layer that separates bacteria from waste present in sweat. This salty environment starves the bacteria, preventing the formation of body odor.
Simultaneously, Crysteous acts on your pores, shrinking them just like your face shrinks when you bite on a lemon. This natural process allows you to sweat, but as minimally as possible, resembling the effect of antiperspirants without clogging your pores.
